Arkansas State Rep. Robin Lundstrum (R) introduced this bill on 2/26/25, and on 3/20/25, it became law.
This law provides further restrictions on under what medical emergency circumstances an abortion can be performed. It explicitly excludes mental health conditions. It also changes references in the law from “an abortion” to “termination of a pregnancy.”
